I am born and raised in Northern New Jersey and attended Virginia State University for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I then attended Montclair State University where I earned my master's degree in Counseling. I am currently a PhD student/Doctoral Candidate in the counseling program at the University of Georgia. I am a certified Professional School Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I have ten years of experience providing counseling services to youth in a variety of settings. The 2017-2018 school year will be my 6th year as a School Counselor at Smitha! On my spare time, I enjoy water sports, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, baking, and watching movies with my husband and three children (ages 10, 7, and 2). |
I hope that this website will keep you informed about what great things we are doing at Smitha and in our department. I hope that you will also check out the resources page. It will provide caregivers with information on trending issues and concerns of middle school students.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns. I look forward to working with you and your students!
